Last-Minute Halloween Costumes
If you’re reading this, you’re just like me and waited until the last minute to get your Halloween costume! I feel like I always procrastinate getting my costume but I swear October went by in the blink of an eye this year. However, there is no need to worry that you won’t get a cute costume this year as I have put together an entire lookbook of costumes that will get to you before the holiday (thank you Amazon Prime)!
I have done SO many different costumes from Mean Girls, but I can’t believe I have never done Karen in her most iconic look…she’s a mouse, duh! Not only is this costume super simple while being adorable, but it’s also like wearing 2 costumes in one as you channel your inner mean girl and mouse! You all know I love a rat, so this is at the top of my costume list for sure.
A couple of years ago, I dressed up as Elle Woods in her bunny costume, and so many of you LOVED it! So, I thought I would revamp the look with pieces and accessories that will arrive just in the knick of time. Although let’s be honest, Elle Woods would have never procrastinated getting her Halloween costume (she probably has some on standby by all year long!).
If you are looking to channel your inner superstar diva this year, you NEED to dress up as the queen herself, Sharpay Evans. Once again, I feel like this is such an easy costume to pull together last minute while still looking fabulous (pun intended). I’ve based this look off of Sharpay’s look when she sings her duet with Ryan in the first movie, which is one of my favorite scenes!
Now this might be a niche costume, but for the girls who know you know. Bibble is Barbie’s sidekick in Fairytopia, and he genuinely steals the show with his tiny fluffy body but huge sassy attitude. Personally, I would love to have my own Bibble, but I guess dressing up as him for Halloween will have to do. All the extra work you’d need to do for this look is glue the purple balls on your corset and tutu.
I feel like I never put any animals in my Halloween lookbooks, so I thought the perfect one to start with would be a flamingo! Who wouldn’t want to dress up in head to toe pink and strut around like a fabulous bird all night? In case you’re worried someone might not understand your costume, I found these hilarious flamingo sunglasses to give your look that little something extra!
I have included Rapunzel, Tiana, and so many other princesses in my previous lookbooks, but now it’s time for Snow White’s moment to shine! With the huge movie release recently, I feel like channeling your inner Snow is super fitting, and let’s be honest, her outfit is truly iconic. I am OBSESSED with the little apple details I found like the earrings and purse!
I feel like the girly Y2K aesthetic has been super trendy this year, so it only made sense to include a costume of the queen that lived that exact vibe: Paris Hilton. From the sparkly mini skirt, flip phone, and bedazzled scarf, you will literally be dressed as one of the most iconic figures in pop culture. Plus, the outfit is to die for!
While Sabrina Carpenter may be done touring, her concert outfits only inspired me more to dress up like her this Halloween. One of my favorite new accessories I added was the pink fuzzy handcuffs just like the ones she uses to arrest someone for being too hot at her shows. How fun would it be to arrest your friends all night?!
While fall may be ending and winter is only beginning, I am dreaming of warm sunny days by the beach, and one of my favorite things from the summer was drinking a delicious Aperol spritz. So, it only feels fitting to pay homage to the drink of the summer by dressing up as it! This is such a cute and simple costume that feels original and different from what everyone else will be wearing.
Bats aren’t the only thing in the air this Halloween when you dress up as Cupid and start shooting your love arrows all around! I have dressed up as Cupid before for my sorority events, and let me tell you, it’s still one of my favorite costumes. From the wings to the red face sparkles, I think this is a super cutie costume that will make you feel gorgeous!
