Solo Halloween Costumes

Happy October! Spooky season has officially arrived, which means it is time for even MORE Halloween costume inspiration. I have been searching the internet for the cutest pieces for these looks, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. From a new take on Barbie to being a Showgirl, these costumes will make you look and feel fabulous!

Get ready to save the world and look amazing while doing it as your favorite Powerpuff Girl, Blossom! I remember watching that show and thinking how adorable their outfits were, so I knew I needed to recreate it for a Halloween look. I am literally obsessed with the dress I found, and the red bow and blossom necklace really are the cherry on top in completing the look!

As someone who was just crowned Miss New York, I thought it was fitting to include a look from a movie that I have been obsessed with lately! Miss Congeniality is a movie that makes me laugh out loud, and dressing up as her is the perfect excuse to wear a pink shiny dress and a gorgeous crown. I couldn’t believe it when I found THE perfect sash on Etsy to complete the look!

Bridgerton just announced the release date for their next season, so it is only fitting to include a costume inspired by the show! This is the perfect pink dress to make you feel like the diamond of the season, of course paired with the cutest crown and delicate white gloves. I also love that I was able to find a copy of Lady Whistledown’s paper because Halloween isn’t an excuse to not be paying attention to all the scandals in the town!

Taylor Swift made it clear in August that there is one Halloween costume perfect for Swifties: a Showgirl! While Taylor is really channeling her inner orange for her new album, I thought I would keep it true to me and give you guys the perfect pink showgirl costume. From the fan to the pearls to the heels, this is literally the most iconic Swiftie look for the season!

I have created SO many different Barbie looks, but I have never thought to create her most iconic TV look, aka her outfit from Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse! I have seen so many different clips of this show on TikTok, and they literally make me laugh out loud. I found the most perfect sequin top and tiered skirt to make it clear to everyone this is Barbie’s dream house look (not Ken’s.)

As someone who loves Clueless, I thought it was time to pay some respect to Cher’s other iconic look in the film besides the yellow plaid set: her red dress! When Cher gets robbed during this scene, it is literally one of the most iconic parts of the movie because how dare the robber make her get down in her gorgeous dress! I love that I was able to find a phone prop that really sells the look!

I am not someone who loves scary movies or really anything scary, so I’ve never seen the movie Carrie. However, I have seen so many amazing looks on Pinterest and TikTok that I thought I would share my take on the costume. Once again, you get to wear a pretty pink dress and a prom queen sash, and for my girls who like to get a little spooky, the fake blood is the final touch you need to really channel her energy.

With the second Wicked movie coming out, I have done my fair share of costumes inspired by the film. However, I thought we would pay homage to the original who started it all: Dorothy. As Dorothy is in the second movie, I feel like so many people are going to be doing this look this year, but you can’t blame them; it’s a classic! Instead of sparkly ruby heels, I found this amazing lace ones that give a little twist to the outfit!

When I was thinking of different ways to get creative when making a New York inspired costume, the idea came to me as a taxi drove by…So here is my fashionable take on being a taxi/taxi driver for Halloween! Tell me this is not one of the cutest looks that you’ve ever seen, and I feel like it’s so different and new from a bunch of other New York costumes that you have seen before!

To complete the lookbook, I needed to include one of my favorite things in the world: a squirrel! I feel like I have seen SO many different woodland creature costumes in the world, but no one ever chooses to dress up as  a squirrel (and as their biggest fan, that pains me). So, I found the cutest little outfit for you to put together to channel your inner squirrel and give respect to my favorite little animal!

While it may seem early, Halloween activities that require a costume always creep up before Halloween! So, make sure to pick your perfect outfit and put it together early so you are the most fashionable one at the party!
