Halloween Costumes for Couples

If there is one thing Will and I are going to do every fall, it’s find the cutest couples costume possible! From Blair and Chuck to Remy and Linguine from Ratatouille, we pride ourselves on finding cute costumes that suit our vibe. So, if you’re looking for some couples costume inspiration for Halloween, look no further than this blog post. I’m sure you’ll find something you love!

Starting off with one of the most iconic (toxic) couples in movie history, we have Elle and Warner from Legally Blonde. Now if you’re wondering why I didn’t create an Emmet look to go with Elle, it’s because I think Warner is way easier to spot and recognize next to Elle decked out in his Harvard gear. Also, it would be so fun to act out the “what, like it’s hard?” scene all night if your boyfriend dresses up as Warner!

I love a cutie Disney couples costume, but I feel like there are SO many great options out there that aren’t a Disney princess and prince. So, after doing some digging, I realized how perfect Boo Beep and Woody are! I am obsessed with the light pink and blue color scheme Boo Peep has going on, and what boyfriend wouldn’t want to dress up as one of the most iconic Pixar characters of all time?!

When it comes to creating a nostalgic costume, what is better than a childhood favorite: Peach and Mario! What I love about this costume is how simple it is to put together, and you still get to feel glamorous while your boyfriend acts out all of Mario’s shenanigans all night. This is also super cute if you have friends that can be Luigi and Daisy (even though they aren’t a couple I feel like people will still get the vibe!).

It would be a crime if I didn’t include at least one Disney princess look, so you know I had to include my favorite princess of all time: Rapunzel! Rapunzel and Flynn Rider are THE most iconic couple in Disney history, and I think this is another amazing look that everyone is going to love! From the flowers in your hair to the satchel, you are going to look like you just popped out of the movie. Bonus points if you want to carry around a frying pan all night!

This is a look I pulled out of the archives, and I don’t mean the Disney Channel archives. Will and I dressed up as Hannah Montana and her security guard back in college, and to this day, it is still the costume that I get the most questions about. So, to make it easy for all of you, I went back in my orders and found everything we got to complete the look! I truly felt like a rockstar that night, and SO many people said it was their favorite costume they saw that Halloween!

It is a big year for Taylor Swift! She got engaged and her new album is coming out, so I thought we would pay homage to her by including her and Travis in this lookbook. From the iconic tassel jacket to the friendship bracelets that started it all, this Taylor and Travis costume set represents one of the most memorable moments of their relationship: the start!

If you’re someone who is dreaming of the summer even though fall has just begun, you and your boyfriend need to be a mermaid and a sailor! This is the perfect costume if you live somewhere where the Halloween season isn’t super chilly, or else you’ll be a freezing cold mermaid! I am in LOVE with this pink sparkly mermaid bra I found on Etsy, and it comes at a great price!

If you and your boyfriend are really great at learning all the tea and solving mysteries, these Daphne and Fred costumes are perfect! Once again, I am someone who loves to create a costume from items I either have at home or would wear again after Halloween. So, this look includes a ton of simple pieces that you would still be able to wear after the holiday is over. Extra points if you already have a magnifying glass laying around!

When I was thinking about classic couples from movies, I knew I had to include the most iconic couple of all time: Sandy and Danny from Grease! Grease is one of my favorite musicals of all time, and I love the idea of dressing up as cool girl Sandy at the end of the movie because it’s so different from my personal style. If Will and I dressed up as these two, he would be forced to listen to me sing all night long!

To finish up this lookbook, I wanted to include a look that isn’t from a movie or a tv show. Will and I have done SO much traveling this year, so it only felt natural to create a look that is a pilot and a flight attendant! Once I saw the pink flight attendant hat online, I knew this look was going to be one of my favorites. From the ascot to the bright pink heels, you could totally tell everyone you are Flight Attendant Barbie and your boyfriend is Pilot Ken!

I had SO much fun making this Halloween lookbook, and I am SO excited to share with all of you who Will and I decide to dress up as this year. If you’re interested in even more costumes, make sure to check out my LTK and ShopMy!
