Girly Birthday Weekend in NYC
Happy birthday to me! As a January baby, I always found that my birthday was cold and dark because of the winter season, so I have made it my goal to make it feel as bright and fun as possible. So, for this year, I knew I wanted to have the most girly and fun sleepover of all time! Inspired by every sleepover you see in the movies, this is how I celebrated my 28th birthday in NYC with my besties!
When I started planning my birthday weekend, I knew I wanted to spend a night at a fun hotel in the city. After doing a ton of research, I landed on staying at the Fouquet because of how perfectly it matched my girly vibe. There were pink accents everywhere in the room, and if you want to see the whole room, checkout my vlog where I filmed the entire stay and weekend!
Of course, before the birthday festivities started, I knew I needed to get in some birthday photos to share with all of you! I found this luxurious robe on Amazon, and it truly made me feel like I was an elegant princess walking around in her beautiful pink pajamas. Of course, I had to sneak in some sweet treats as well because it is my birthday celebration!
After taking some amazing shots, it was time for the party to start! The theme for my party was “Party Animals,” which included adorable plates of cartoon animals that were wearing party hats (it was literally the cutest thing I had ever seen!). Of course, we drank delicious champagne and were all obsessed with how delicious this cake was from Whole Foods!

One of the highlights of the night was putting together this TikTok to the song “Girl Party” by Mackenzie Ziegler! You all know how much I love Dance Moms, so I knew I NEEDED to make this TikTok with my girls to recreate one of the most iconic moments from the show. Behind the camera, we could barely keep it together from how much fun we were having. This truly felt like a peak girlhood moment!

To end the night, we put on our face masks and watched the magical movie that is Enchanted! There is truly no better feeling than spending the night with your closest friends to celebrate the next season of your life. These girls truly mean the world to me, and I am so happy we get to make amazing memories like this together in the greatest city in the world!
To finish out my birthday weekend, my bestie Caroline came up to visit! We spent a ton of time shopping, eating out, and soaking up the short time we had together. One of our favorite parts was going to The Plaza Hotel to share a glass of champagne and dress up wearing our prettiest dresses. We truly went on so many adventure in the short time she was here, and I always love busy days in the city with my friends who don’t live here!
And after all of those festivities, I am officially 28! I can’t believe how fast time is flying, but I feel so blessed to be in the place I am now in life, surrounded by the most amazing people who make my life that much sweeter! Thanks for celebrating with me!
