Bridal Favorites
I have been engaged for a couple of months now, and I have completed some fun engagement milestones! Will and I had our engagement photos done, and we celebrated with our friends and family by throwing an engagement party. As I’ve begun to navigate this new season of my life, I have discovered some amazing products that have become by bridal favorites! So, whether you’re engaged or looking for gift ideas for a new bride in your life, these are the products they are sure to love!
Ring Cleaner
Once you get engaged, you’re going to be staring at your ring a LOT, so it’s important to make sure it stays sparkly! This is my number one ring cleaner, and I didn’t realize how important cleaning my ring was until I saw the difference once I started. This is definitely something I will be gifting to my girlfriends when they get engaged as it’s practical and makes your ring extra shiny!
Keepsake Box
If you are engaged, you NEED this customized keepsake box! It is literally a nonnegotiable. I didn’t realize how many different items I would want to save during my engagement season, and after starting a huge pile of random stuff, I knew I needed somewhere to keep it all. This keepsake box is PERFECT for holding all of your sweet engagement memories inside of it in a cute and organized way. Use code LaurenN for 10% off your next order!
Mrs. Slippers
You all know I love to stay nice and cozy, so I treated myself to these “Mrs.” slippers for my engagement party so give my feet a rest before wearing heels. I wore these the entire time I was getting ready, and I honestly haven’t taken them off since! They are great quality and super inexpensive, and I got never ending compliments on them from my glam team and photographers the whole morning!
Resin Frame and Bowl
I am a super sentimental girly, and I knew I wanted to save everything I could from mine and Will’s engagement. Will proposed to me in a beautiful secret garden area of Central Park where he had arranged gorgeous floral arrangements to be displayed, and I knew I wanted to save the flowers in some type of way. I found this amazing shop on Etsy that turns your dried flowers into a resin photo frame and ring bowl, and I don’t think there was a more perfect way to have these flowers preserved for forever!
Signature Perfume
Girls always talk about having a signature scent for their wedding day, but I feel like nobody talks about having a signature scent for your engagement season! I bought this exact perfume on mine and Will’s first trip to New York City but I never wore it. However, I decided to wear it on our engagement day because it still felt special as I was “modeling for a bridal shoot.” So, naturally this became my signature engagement scent, and I have loved wearing it for all things wedding!
Press-On Nails
I didn’t realize that having such a gorgeous ring on my finger would mean wanting to have my nails done ALL the time! However, I decided to take a break from the nail salon to save some money and to work on my nail health. With that, I still wanted really cute nails, and I found the perfect French tip almond press-on nails! I wore these last month for an autumn photoshoots, and my DMs were flooded with people asking me where I got them done…Amazon Prime baby!
Heart Necklace
If you watched my “First 48 Hours Engaged” vlog, you would know I went to Tiffany’s the day after our engagement to get a gold heart necklace with our engagement date engraved on it. This necklace truly means the world to me, and I wear it every single day. While scrolling on Etsy, I found this less expensive one that is almost identical to mine! This is the perfect way to treat yourself as a new bride or it makes the most perfect gift for a newly engaged friend.
Engagement Journal
I recently found this engagement book on Amazon, and I absolutely adore it! I remember my mom having similar books for me and my siblings when we were growing up, and I always loved looking back and reading about all these special memories we kept track of. This is a season of our lives we will only ever get once, and I love the idea of writing everything down that happens along with physical photos to look back on years from now!
Being engaged has been one of the best seasons of my life, and I feel SO lucky I get to do this with my best friend by my side. Whether you’re engaged, about to be engaged, or looking for bridal gift ideas, I hope this blog gave you some great ideas!
