My 2026 Vision Board

Happy 2026! One of my favorite ways to start off the new year is to sit down and really think about all of the things I want to do and accomplish in the next 365 days. My favorite way to set my goals is by creating a vision board that I can look at every day to remind myself what I’m working toward. I wanted to share some of my favorite tips and tricks for creating a vision board on the blog, but if you’re interested in seeing the entire process, make sure to check out my YouTube video!

Get Inspired

When it comes to setting goals, I am such a visual person. I love to write down a bunch of things I want to do, but the magic really comes to life when I start scrolling on Pinterest. From career to health to relationships, Pinterest has an aesthetic photo for anything and everything you can imagine, and sometimes the photos can even inspire you to change a goal or make it even more specific. As you’re scrolling, be open minded and look out for things that really catch your eye. The photos you put on are things you want to achieve in your own life, so make sure they are truly something you are in love with and can see yourself having within the next year!

What You’ll Need

Frame

The most important thing about a vision board is that you’re looking at it every single day, so I recommend getting a frame and hanging it up in your house. There is no better feeling than waking up in the morning and one of the first things you see are all of your goals for the year right in front of you. It’s a super inspiring way to start the day!

Photo Printer

I usually print most of my photos out at my local Walgreens or CVS (I typically print the photos in 4x4), but this year I thought about how amazing it would be to print any extra photos on a mini photo printer that links up to your phone. This would totally ease the process and allow you to print photos you found after you already ordered some from Walgreens.

Tape

When it comes to creating a vision board, there is a ton of moving and rearranging of photos. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve taped something down and decided to move it later. So, I personally think tape is better than glue as it’s less messy and allows you to move things more easily if you change your mind.

Scissors

Let me tell you one of the most important things when making a vision board: you should get as crafty as possible! Your vision board can be photos you cut out of magazines or words you cut out of your local newspaper. You can print photos on Pinterest and cut out different shapes to fit into a certain space. Don’t be afraid to cut and trim and do whatever you need, so scissors are a must when creating.

Setting the Vibe

Creating your vision board isn’t something you do in five minutes and call it a day. Instead, the entire act of finding photos, cutting them out, and arranging them should be an experience. You are planning an amazing future for yourself, so show up for yourself now and really treat yourself. Grab yourself a silly little drink and a sweet treat before you sit down and put on your favorite movie or show. Or if you’re like me, put on a playlist that inspires you. I love associating a playlist with my vision board because the songs become my anthem for the year, and I’m constantly reminded of all of my goals no matter where I am when a song comes on.

The Finished Product

After you have spent hours perfectly crafting your vision board, it is so important that you display it somewhere that you see it every single day. I can’t tell you how many times I looked at my vision board for 2025 right in the morning and gave myself the pep talk I needed to get out and conquer the day. Plus, there is no better feeling than when you start to accomplish the things on your vision board and when you look at it, some things are no longer a vision; they’re your reality! This whole process should be about dreaming as big as you possibly can, and it should lift your spirits in a way that makes you more than excited for the year ahead!

This time of the year is always my favorite because there is nothing better than everyone celebrating a new beginning. I hope sharing my vision board process helped inspire you to create one for yourself!
