Summer Wedding Guest Lookbook
Happy wedding season! One of my favorite times of the year to attend weddings is summer, thanks to the perfect weather and the amazing dresses you get to wear! Personally, I think being a wedding guest in the summer gives you the freedom to wear more fun colors, so I tried to include as many different options as possible for any occasion or dress code! And, of course, there are gorgeous pink options!
Y’all. Tell me this is not one of the most gorgeous dresses you’ve ever seen?! Not only do I love the color, but I’m obsessed with the little scarf that goes around your neck and lays down your back (is it not the most elegant thing ever?). I decided to pair the look with silver jewelry and accessories because I think it compliments the color super well. Plus, I love how the bracelet has touches of blue in it to match the dress!
If you’re attending a wedding somewhere tropical or beachy, this is the dress for you! I feel like pink and orange are two colors that blend beautifully together, and because they’re so bright and bold, it’s the perfect combination for a summer wedding. I wanted to keep the accessories within the same color palette, so I included some of my favorite jewelry from Julie Vos and Kendra Scott to complete the look.
Summer weddings can be hot, so if you’re looking for a shorter option that is still semi-formal, this pink look is perfect. While I may be biased because pink is my favorite color, I am genuinely obsessed with the cut of the dress and the adorable bow on the back! Because this shade of pink is super bright, I decided to pair the dress with white accessories to create a clean and cohesive look that doesn’t clash with the dress.
I feel like every single wedding lookbook I’ve done has a dress that reminds me of Cinderella, but it’s just because this shade of blue is gorgeous! What I love about this look is how simplistic it is while looking chic and classic. I can see myself wearing this at a wedding in The Hamptons or to any beach wedding. One of my favorite parts about this look are the AMAZING shoes! I
Tell me this dress doesn’t remind you of a painting in the MET? I feel like the dress looks like it has a painted watercolor pattern on it, and I’ve never seen something more elegant. Green is such a classic color to wear to summer weddings as it matches all of the amazing flowers and greenery that bloomed in the spring! To keep the look classy, I decided to brighten it up with some good jewelry and an adorable wicker clutch.
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days called and they want their yellow dress back! My jaw literally dropped when I saw this dress because it’s PERF for a summer wedding. I’ve linked an almost identical dress to the one in the movie before, but this one has a much nicer material for the summer that won’t make you sweat. Personally, I’m obsessed with pearls, so I decided to include as many pearl details as possible throughout the accessories.
Of course I had to include another pink dress in the lookbook…and of course it also has bows! This was another dress that once I saw it I knew it was going to be included in this lookbook. It’s beautiful, amazing quality, and the cut is super flattering. I would totally wear this to any and every summer wedding I was going to attend. As the dress is super feminine, I wanted the accessories to reflect the same vibe, so I found these adorable pieces of bow jewelry that couldn’t be more perfect!
If you’re interested in a more bold and bright look, you need to order this dress. This isn’t something that I would wear myself, but if I could pull it off, I totally would! The cut of the dress is gorgeous and the color is super different in the best way possible. I feel like this look is perfect for my girlies who wear gold jewelry because it compliments the orange dress so beautifully.
While summer weddings usually involve bright colors, I know some weddings still have a black and white dress code. This is THE dress you need if you’re going for a timeless and classic look. I am in love with the detailing that lines the top and botom of the dress, and even though the dress seems simple, that’s what makes it so gorgeous. To mix things up, I decided to pair the look with a combination of silver and gold jewelry to give the dress a bright pop and edge.
To finish up the lookbook, I found this beautiful purple dress. I feel like so many people associate purple with the springtime, but I still think it’s a great color to wear for summer weddings. I love how unique this dress is with the cut of the neckline and the one strap. It just looks like it was made to be worn by a wedding guest! To keep it simple, I found these amazing white and gold accessories to pair with the look, and I think I need to buy myself those earrings!
I love putting together a wedding guest lookbook, and these have been some of my favorite dress finds yet! If you're looking for even more outfit inspiration, make sure to check out my Amazon Storefront and LTK!
