April Favorites
Happy May! I can’t believe how fast the months are flying by, but that’s what happens when the spring season starts. I feel like once this time of year hits, it’s hard to sit still, and am so grateful for all of the amazing opportunities I had this month. From attending a premiere to going to New York Fashion Week, I had a lot of busy weekends, which means a lot of new products that I am so excited to share with you in today’s blog!
Electric Kettle
Something that I have been doing as a part of my nightly routine is drinking tea! There is something so relaxing and calming about it, and it truly helps me sleep better. So, I treated myself to this electric kettle from MacKenzie-Childs (one of my favorite brands) and it has made making my bedtime tea time fabulous and super easy!
Pajamas
If you know me you know I am OBSESSED with pajamas! There is no better feeling in the world than slipping into your favorite pair after completing your nighttime routine. This pair of tulip pajamas is one of the softest pairs of sleepwear that I own, and I could not think of a more perfect pattern for the spring season!
Clutch
This is one of my favorite clutches in my entire purse collection! It is truly the best bag I have ever used. I wore this when I went to The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere, and I got SO many compliments on how nice it looks. Plus, I love that when I take the strap off, there is still a place for my hand to rest and look nice in photos!
Hydrating Glow Mist Serum
I recently added this d'Alba Piedmont hydrating serum into my makeup routine around two months ago, and I LOVE the way it preps my skin for product application. This has become the first step of my makeup routine, and I never want to skip it. It helps relieve dry skin and gives my skin an intense layer of moisture.
Curling Iron
My T3 broke back in September, and I haven’t been able to find a curling iron that does it quite like them! I repurchased a new one in the beginning of April, and I swear my hair has never looked better. This is my go-to styling tool for Miss New York events and date nights because the curls literally never fall out!
Laptop Case
I always love to do a spring refresh when the season arrives, and this year that extended to my tech products! When I saw this pink polka dot laptop case on Amazon, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. This laptop case is super great quality, and it’s under $30 which is a steal. I have recieved so many compliments on it, too!
Body Lotion
The sun is now officially out in New York City, which means I am tanning more than ever. To keep my tan looking fresh, I am moisturizing with this body lotion! I swear this is one of my favorite lotion brands, and this specific one smells DIVINE! The scent of the coconut also reminds me of the summer, which is right ahead!
Pearl Jeans
When it comes to jeans, I am someone who is always on the hunt for a cute pair without holes in them. These pearl jeans from Amazon are some of the most flattering pairs of jeans I own, and they’re under $50. I wear a size small, and I have never loved a pair of jeans more.
Setting Spray
As someone who is on the go, I am always looking for a great setting spray. I love this drugstore version because it is super affordable and gets the job done. I was slammed in April with heat spikes, NYFW, and lots of Miss New York events, and my makeup stayed SO fresh!
Eye Patches
I am a girly who LOVES to put on some eye masks, but I truly only love to use them if I can tell there’s a difference once I take them off. I had never tried Rhode eye patches before this month, and let me tell you I was missing out! I fell in LOVE with these and see such a difference under my eyes once I take them off!
Lip Tint
I had to include another Rhode product on here that I loved during April (can you tell I shopped the Sephora sale this month?!). I am obsessed with the Rhode lip tints because of how beautiful they look and how nice they feel on your lips. I have one in the shade “Ribbon,” and I just purchased “Jelly Bean” which is a more sheer and light.
I truly found SO many amazing products during the month of April! I hope that if you order some of these items they become staples in your own life!
