Fall Decor Guide
Happy fall, y'all! I can't believe it is already September, which means it is officially time to decorate for the fall season. One of my favorite parts about the end of the year is decorating for the changing seasons, and I am so happy we get to start with such a cozy and warm vibe for autumn. To help you get a head start, I've put together this blog full of some of my favorite fallish decor!
Squirrel Candle
We are starting this fall decor guide off strong with a squirrel candle! If you know me, you know that one of my favorite animals in the world is a squirrel, and I love that they get the representation they deserve during the fall months. Not only is this a great decoration, but the candle has a heavenly vanilla scent!
Pumpkin Bath Mat
While the fall is normally associated with neutral and warm colors, I am just a girl who loves pink. So, I am always on the hunt for cute pink decorations. I love that this bathmat will already match our apartment decor, and it can stay out until the end of November! I know the kitties will love sleeping on this during those chillier months, too!
White Knit Blanket
One of my favorite things to do during the fall is get cozy on the couch while watching a not-so-spooky Halloween movie. A necessity for a night like that is a warm and fuzzy blanket. I am obsessed with knitted blankets like this white one, and I've found that they are some of the best for snuggling on the sofa. I feel like I'm in a cloud!
Decorative Pumpkin
If you have seen my kitchen, you know I love the look of the pink Mackenzie-Childs line. So imagine my excitement when I realized they are making fall decorations to match! When I saw this gorgeous pumpkin with the beautiful flowers, I knew it was one of the most perfect fall items I had ever seen!
Wreath
While I do love pink, a fall color that I love is a deep burgundy or maroon! When I saw this wreath, I knew it had to make the list simply because of how stunning it is. I can just imagine hanging this up on my door and smiling every time I see it when I come home. It's the perfect way to get into the fall vibe before even stepping into your house!
Hand Towels
When it comes to decorating, I feel like the smallest details always make the biggest difference. While it might not be obvious to find seasonal hand towels, I promise it makes all the difference! I found this amazing set of pumpkin hand towels on Amazon, and I can't get over how cute they are. Look at all the adorable bows on them!
Fall Ramekins
Another one of my favorite fall traditions is making yummy dinners for Will and me. While I haven't had a ton of experience using a ramekin, I've been looking at so many fall recipes that call for you to have one, so why not pick cute ones that match the season? I am already dreaming of all the cozy dinners I can make for us to enjoy!
Pumpkin Pillows
You already know I'm a girl who loves a decorative pillow. When I was scrolling on Amazon and saw this set of pumpkin pillows, I instantly fell in love. They are literally the perfect size to place on your couch, and they are super soft and cozy. Think about all the fall naps you can take on them after a long day of fall festivities!
Bow Pillow
To me, bows were never a trend, so you know this bow pillow had to make it onto this list. Once again, I love the deep, rich color of the pillow, and I feel like it is so different from all the other square pillows you normally see. This is definitely something you could use even after the season is over!
Pumpkin Garland
During Christmas time, I always hang beautiful pink garlands across the TV stand we have in our living room. So, I thought, why not find something to drape the stand with during the fall? This pumpkin garland is super simple and will match our decor perfectly. Once again, I love that I can keep it up until Thanksgiving, as it's not Halloween-specific!
Welcome Mat
Who says the fall decorations can only happen inside your apartment? I love how CUTE this pumpkin doormat is, and I love that it shares a little bit of fall spirit with your neighbors as they walk past your door. From the pink pumpkins to the adorable saying, you could not find a better fall doormat!
Pumpkin Door Hanger
When I decorate, I always feel like our bedroom or bathroom doors are bare in comparison to everything else. The perfect fix was found when I saw this insanely cute pink pumpkin door hanger. Once again, I cannot emphasize enough how happy a bow on a pumpkin makes me, and I can't wait to hang these all over our doors!
Wall Decor
If you're looking for a simple and affordable way to add some fall decorations to your home, these at-home printable art prints are super easy! All you have to do is print them at home or at your local CVS, and then you can just put them in frames you already have in your house. Such an easy way to incorporate the season!
Pumpkin Mug
If you know me, you know I have a mug obsession. Therefore, I think mugs totally count as fall decor, so I had to put one on this list. I love how this mug is pink on the inside, and it makes me think of all the pumpkin-spiced drinks I will be making at home and drinking out of this cutie mug!
Squirrel Statue
Tell me your heart didn't burst when you saw this statue of two squirrels making a heart with their tail? Because my heart went into a million different pieces because of the cuteness overload! As Will and I just got engaged, I feel like this is such a fitting statue to put in our apartment to commemorate our first fall as an engaged couple!
Pink Blanket
There was no way I could make a fall decor guide and not put a perfectly pink plaid blanket on the list. I am a firm believer that you can never have too many throw blankets. In fact, Will and I have a whole basket full of blankets in our living room, and this one is going to make the perfect new addition for the season!
Pumpkin Plates
When I was thinking about all the yummy fall recipes I want to make this season, I realized I needed to find plates that would properly showcase the food. MacKenzie-Childs came in clutch again and is selling these pink pumpkin plates that are perfect for any meal you want to serve. I might even use them on Thanksgiving!
Pumpkin Glasses
If you've been following me for a while, you know that I am OBSESSED with all of the classic Anthropologie glasses. Of course, I have the squirrel ones, but now I need these pumpkin ones to match! Again, what is better than drinking pumpkin-spiced coffee out of a glass with pumpkins on it?!
Table Runner
While Will and I don't have a big enough dining room table for a table runner, I have always dreamed of having a beautiful tablescape set during the fall. I love the delicate pattern of flowers on this runner and how it will perfectly go with all of your different decorations without looking out of place!
Acorn Plate
This fall decoration guide had squirrels, so of course I needed to finish it off with an acorn plate! I cannot express how happy seeing this little gold acorn plate made me, and while it's advertised as an appetizer plate, all I can think about is all the fall treats I will be placing on this plate to eat while watching a fall movie!
